Deuterium Gas
Deuterium is the heavier stable isotope of common hydrogen. It is colorless, tasteless, non-toxic flammable gas. Its boiling point is -249.5℃.
It is used in the field of chemistry and biochemistry to produce compounds containing heavy hydrogen. Trace molecules can be used to study reaction rates and reaction mechanisms. Replacement of hydrogen in silicon sintering or annealing process in semiconductor, flat panel display, solar cell and other electronics industries. It is also used in nuclear fusion reactions.
